Initial Deck Conceptualized

Alright! Yesterday I managed to get the prep work done for the first set of minions and towers to be released in the game. I had about 5-6 minions thought of before yesterday. Now I have 27-28 minions! I also have 9 towers on the ready for their unique purposes. I will say this will take a lot of adjustments and balancing once all of these guys are in, but I think it will work out just fine.

I think a big part of designing games with a sort of "deck" system is that you design the new cards with what's already in the game. I think after I have about 9 total minions in game even, I'll have no problem balancing that and then adding more to fit in later. I'm hoping to do other classes.

I filled out a PowerPoint for this game and what will be in it. I have the unique mechanics, minions, and towers listed. I've been struggling to set up the prep work because I was lost in the direction to go, but I think I finally found good footing.

I plan to address the single player mode computer and the design choices for that because I have had the week off to address it and still have a little bit of time before my actual job gets in the way of it and ruins everything. Currently my Game Manager is bricked and needs to revert to an older version or something. I wanted to make the system modular so one script would run for single player and another for multiplayer. Sadly, I'm not learned enough on how to do that. Maybe it would be worth it to practice something smaller in another project so I have it in my arsenal. Regardless, I'm significantly more skilled than I was than making my previous game. Hopefully with the tools available now, we can make this come to life and many other good games in the future. Take care!
